How do I become a member?
By paying a 5000.00 colones annual membership fee at your first visit.

How long can I check out books for?
First time -two weeks and any time after that - up to a month.

Is there a quantity limit?
Up to 10 books per person after your first visit.

Do you accept book donations?
Yes

What do you do with those you don't use?
We trade them for books to use in our two walk-away
locations, Bagelman's Escazu and Cafe La Artista,
Escazu. If they are in bad condition and unsavable,
then we send them to be recycled.

What is your policy on lost or damaged books?
If the book is a classic then the return of the same. Any
others, a comparable book and or a monetary equivalent.

When was the library started?
In May 2002 we first opened.
